THE WINDSOR PALETTE AND BRUSH CLUB

Fall Program for 2009

Watercolor Demonstration by Carol Ganick, from 7:15 to 9:00 PM. Refreshments will be served. Free.

Marine Oil Painting Demonstration by Richard Nowak, from 6:45 to 9:00 PM. Working from photos and plein air, this Westfield, Massachusetts artist recreates and reimagines the landscapes of New England in vibrant color and texture. Opening Reception for the Annual Fall Art Exhibit at Windsor Town Hall, 2-4 p.m. in Council Chambers. Meet the artists and enjoy delicious refreshments. More than 70 works by 36 local artists will be on display in the lower level corridors from November 1 - December 4. Art works, many of which will be for sale, will include oils, watercolors, pastel, mixed media, collage, stained glass, and photography. They can be viewed during Town Hall hours and whenever there are evening meetings. Free.

Free Pastel Demonstration by Joanne Agostinelli, 6:45 to 9:00 PM at the L.P. Wilson Community Center. She uses pastels and colored pencils to capture the magical effects of light. Joanne is President of the Connecticut Women Artists and is a member of the Salmagundi Club in New York, the Connecticut Pastel Society, and an Elected Artist in the Mystic Art Association.
